Map of KADAN

Edit: I removed the "mature content" filter, as I think kids these days see way worse things than a few half naked drawn women. IF anyone feels offended, please tell me so, then I will put the filter back on!

Finally - this is it: The map of my self created fantasy world KADAN.
In the center we see the world KADAN itself - which turned out to be much smaller than I ever thought possible. I may have to adjust this in the future...
The world may be barely recognizable to those who have been there, but that is on purpose: This map shows the world roughly 500 years before the start of the campaign.
As one can see, the cold regions reside on the equator. Under the ice, there are great chasms that threaten to tear the world apart.
The poles are covered with deserts.
The map surrounded by some prominent gods and godlike creatures of KADAN, some of whom are still unknown to my (former) players.


It literally took me forever to finish this picture, and so I have to say - I can't stand it anymore.
The map itself was finished two or three months ago, the rest of the time I lost myself in the frame - which turned out to be much more pompous than the map itself.

Still, I learned a lot about photoshop, painting in general and myself while finishing this picture.

As I live in germany, there are a few words on the map in german. But I think those are pretty much self-explanatory.

The full resolution version of the map doubles as birthday present for my best friend - I hope you like it!
